About mARISSA
 

Marissa is a multi-disciplinary artist and technologist currently residing in Northern California. She has spent the last three years falling in love with working with watercolor and other paint mediums. More recently, she has been experimenting with lines, motion, and the impact light and time has on art. Prior to this, she had focused primarily on drawing with charcoal and dabbling with acrylics and oils. Positioned up in the mountains of California, Marissa is fortunate be surrounded by so much beauty and inspiration. From the view out her window or the drive into town, she is constantly finding ideas for future pieces. 

When she’s not working, Marissa can be found hiking to audiobooks or in the kitchen perfecting some new recipes learned during quarantine. You can follow her adventures with art on Instagram @art_marissrm.
